INDIAN WHEAT
INGREDIENTS:
- 5 g fresh ginger 30 g shallots
- 70 g onion, halved 3 sprigs of fresh coriander
- 2 cardamom seeds
- 1 C. caraway seeds
- 1 clove
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- 1 C. cumin seeds 1 tbsp. teaspoon black mustard seeds
- ½ tsp. ground cinnamon 1 tbsp. teaspoon curry powder
- 1 C. ground coriander
- 1 C. teaspoon turmeric powder (optional)
- 400g water
- vs. teaspoon salt, adjust to taste
- 2 pinches of pepper, to be adjusted according to taste
- 120g wheat
PREPARATION:
- Place ginger, shallots, onion and coriander in mixing bowl and chop 5 sec/speed 5. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
- Mix again 2 sec/speed 5.
- Add cardamom seeds, caraway seeds, cloves, nutmeg, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, cinnamon, curry, coriander, turmeric, water, salt and pepper and heat 5 min/100°C/speed 1.
- Add the wheat and cook 10 min/100°C//speed 1, without the measuring cup. Serve hot.
