 INDIAN WHEAT


INGREDIENTS:

  • 5 g fresh ginger 30 g shallots
  • 70 g onion, halved 3 sprigs of fresh coriander
  • 2 cardamom seeds
  • 1 C. caraway seeds
  • 1 clove
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 C. cumin seeds 1 tbsp. teaspoon black mustard seeds
  • ½ tsp. ground cinnamon 1 tbsp. teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 C. ground coriander
  • 1 C. teaspoon turmeric powder (optional)
  • 400g water
  • vs. teaspoon salt, adjust to taste
  • 2 pinches of pepper, to be adjusted according to taste
  • 120g wheat


PREPARATION:

  1. Place ginger, shallots, onion and coriander in mixing bowl and chop 5 sec/speed 5. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
  2. Mix again 2 sec/speed 5.
  3. Add cardamom seeds, caraway seeds, cloves, nutmeg, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, cinnamon, curry, coriander, turmeric, water, salt and pepper and heat 5 min/100°C/speed 1.
  4. Add the wheat and cook 10 min/100°C//speed 1, without the measuring cup. Serve hot.
