Pan-Grilled Tuna Steak

 Pan-Grilled Tuna Steak


A bit creamy, incredibly tender yet full of flavor and moist, super easy grilled tuna steak.


Ingredients:
  • For the Tuna Steaks
  • 2 tuna steak approximately 3/4" thick
  • 2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 large lemons cut in half cm disc
  • 25 grams of butter
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper

Instructions:
  1. Preheat a stovetop grill pan to medium high, enough to fit in the 2 tuna steaks, put the butter when it melts add the tuna steaks and lemon discs.
  2. Cook the tuna for 2 minutes per side for rare. Increase time slightly for medium but do not overcook.
  3. Remove the tuna and lemon discs from the grillpan, transfer them to a serving dish and top them with the oil from the pan and freshly grated black pepper together with the lemon rind.
  4. Serve immediatly with  a side dish of your choice.
