 Mediterranean Tuna


Mediterranean tuna is prepared by soaking the tuna. Then you will have to brown the chopped onion and celery, adding the fish after a few minutes. Here is the preparation for the Mediterranean tuna recipe.

Time: 15 minutes of preparation 2h of soaking 25 minutes of cooking


Ingredients:

  • 300 g tuna
  • Celery 1 rib
  • 30 g capers
  • Salt to taste
  • Extra virgin olive oil q.s.
  • Lemons 1 wedge
  • White wine to taste

Preparation:

Soak the tuna for a couple of hours in the lemon juice. 

Brown the chopped onion and celery in a pan with oil.

Add the tuna and cook for about twenty minutes. Add the capers salt and pepper to taste. 

Deglaze with white wine and add the black olives. 

Serve the tuna piping hot, accompanied with buttered pasta or your choice.
