Rumsteak with grilled onions
Servings: for 2 people
Ingredients:
- 1 large onion, approx. 150 g
- 2 tbsp of flour
- ½ c.à.c. of paprika
- 200 ml of vegetable oil
- 2 rumstecks, 180 g
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil (c)
- Salt, pepper
Instructions:
- Cut the onion into thin rings. Mix the paprika and flour and turn the onion rings in this mixture. Remove the excess flour from the onion rings by tapping them.
- Heat the oil to the "min" roasting position
- After the sound signal, fry half of the onions until they are crispy. Remove the onions from the pan and drain them on a papera bsorbent.
- Then cook the remaining onions in the same way and set them aside. Transfer the remaining oil to a heat-resistant container and clean the pan.
- Heat the pan to the roasting position "Med". After the signal, distribute the oil evenly in the pan. Place the steaks in the pan and roast them on both sides.
- Salt and pepper the steaks.
- Divide the grilled onions over the steaks and serve.
Notes:
Grilled onions per serving:
Roasting position "min" after the signal, fry about 10 minutes Steaks:
Roasting position "med" medium, fry about 12 minutes after the well-cooked signal, fry about 15 minutes after the signal
Advice:
If your steaks must be bleeding (rare), set to the "max" roasting position and fry the steaks for 6-8 minutes.
