Pan-fried Foie Gras with Caramelised Apples
Difficulty: Easy Preparation: 15 mins Cooking: 10 mins Total time: 25 mins
Ingredients:
- Duck foie gras 4 slices
- 2 Apples
- Sugar 6 tablespoon
- Butter 3 tablespoon
- Some Lemon juice
- Salt, pepper
Instructions:
- Peel the apples with the peeler, then cut them in half, remove the core and the seeds.
- Cut them into regular pieces and mix them with the lemon juice.
- Heat the skillet over medium heat with the sugar and allow to brown.
- When the sugar begins to brown, add the butter and mix with a pinch of salt
- Add the apples, the rosemary and let them caramelise over medium heat.
- Sear the foie gras 1 minute per side in a frying pan without fat
- To finish, Arrange the apples by placing a mouse ring on a serving platter, then place the slices of pan-fried foie grasand sprinkle with some freshly grated black pepper.
