 Pan-fried Foie Gras with Caramelised Apples



Difficulty: Easy     Preparation: 15 mins    Cooking: 10 mins    Total time: 25 mins 


Ingredients:
  • Duck foie gras 4 slices
  • 2 Apples
  • Sugar 6 tablespoon
  • Butter 3 tablespoon
  • Some Lemon juice
  • Salt, pepper


Instructions:
  1. Peel the apples with the peeler, then cut them in half, remove the core and the seeds.
  2. Cut them into regular pieces and mix them with the lemon juice.
  3. Heat the skillet over medium heat with the sugar and allow to brown.
  4. When the sugar begins to brown, add the butter and mix with a pinch of salt
  5. Add the apples, the rosemary and let them caramelise over medium heat.
  6. Sear the foie gras 1 minute per side in a frying pan without fat
  7. To finish, Arrange the apples by placing a mouse ring on a serving platter, then place the slices of pan-fried foie grasand sprinkle with some freshly grated black pepper.
