 Chocolate Brownies

Soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, these logs prepared with dark chocolate are the best for all occassions.


Preparation: 20 minutes

Cooking time: 25 minutes

Serving: 10-12 logs


Ingredients:

  • 175 grams of dark chocolate, cut into pieces
  • 175 grams of butter
  • 250 grams of sugar
  • a pinch of salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 115 grams of flour type 00
  • 2 teaspoon of vanilla essence
  • 100 grams of chocolate flakes
Or:
  • If you prefer, you can use white chocolate chips
  • For birthday party, you can serve logs putting a candle on each of them.

Procedure:
  1. Turn on the oven at 180 degrees Celcius. Butter the pan and lining the bottom and sides  with parchment paper.
  2. Put the chocolate and the butter in a bowl and met them in a pan ofbarely boiling water, stirring. Remove them from the heat and let it cool.
  3. Add sugar and the melted chocolate, salt it. Beat the eggs in a small bowl, then add them to the melted chocolate.
  4. Sift the flour into the melted chocolate and mix well so that there are no lumps. Add the vanilla essence and chocolate flakes.
  5. Pour the mixture into the pan and cook it in the oven for 20 - 25 minutes until it is slightly browned on the surface and soft in the center. Remove from the oven.
  6. Let the dessert cool: in the pan, cut it in logs. Remove them from the pan and, for a delicious dessert, serve them with scoops of ice cream.
