 Crepes with Orange & Rhum Syrup



Prep. Time: 10 mins. Cooking time: 15 mins

Ingredients: 15 crepes

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 sachets vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation:
  1.  Put the flour, 2 eggs, 2 sachets of vanilla sugar and the pinch of salt in the bowl of the food processor.
  2. Mix everything adding the milk little by little. Mix until the butter is smooth.
  3. In a saucepan put an scraped orange skin and it juice with 2 tablespoons of sugar or more according to your taste and 2 tablespoon of your desired rhum.  Let it boil in few minutes, stir ocassionally until it reduce to around 3 tablespoons.
  4. Pour a ladle of the batter into a crepe maker and cook the crepe, turning halfway through cooking. Repeat the operation until all the ingredients  are used up.
  5. Serve the crepes with the orange syrup and caramelised orange peel
