 Chocolate Cookies


Chocolate cookies are a type of cookie made with chocolate as one of the primary ingredients. They typically have a rich, chocolatey flavor and a soft or crispy texture, depending on the recipe. Chocolate cookies can be made in various forms and variations, such as chocolate chip cookies, double chocolate cookies, chocolate crinkle cookies, and more. They often include ingredients like cocoa powder, chocolate chips, or chunks to give them their distinct chocolate flavor. Chocolate cookies are a popular treat enjoyed by people of all ages and are often served as a dessert or snack.


Preparation: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 15-20 minutes

Servings: 18 biscuits


Ingredients:

  • 125 grams of butter
  • 125 grams of sugar
  • 1 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 ripped banana, mashed
  • 175 grams of self-raising flour
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 100 grams of dark chocolate, in pieces
  • 55 grams of raisins
Or:
  • you can replace the chocolate with dried chopped fruit.
  • To make the peanut butter cookies, use instead of banana 2 taablespoons of peanut butter and some chopped peanuts instead of chocolate without adding raisins.


Instructions:
  1. Turn on the oven at 190 degrees celcius. Mix the butter and sugar together with a wooden spoon until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the beaten egg a little at a time, stirring constantly. Mash the banana and add it to the mixture, stirring constantly.
  3. Sift the flour and mix it into the mixture with a spatula. Combine the milk, chocolate and the fruit and mix
  4. Spoon the mixture onto a baking tray covered with baking paper, well spaced ( about 9 spoonfuls per tray).
  5. Bake the cookies on the middle. rack of the oven for 15 - 20 minutes, until lightly browned.
  6. Removed the tray from the oven and let the biscuits rest for a few minutes, then put them to cool on a metal rack by moving them with a knife rounded blade.
