Banana Upside-Down Cake


Ingredients:

For the caramel 
• 200 g of sugar
• 80 g of butter
• 2 tablespoons of liquid cream
• 2 large bananas (enough to cover the mold)

For the cake
• 140 g of sugar
• 250 g of semi-complete rice flour
• 2 tsp gluten-free baking powder
• 3 bananas
• 80 g of butter
• 2 eggs


Preparation:
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. 
  2. Start by making a dry caramel with the 200g of sugar. 
  3. When it gets to a nice golden color, add the butter and cream off the heat. 
  4. Put back on the fire and stir until you get a homogeneous caramel. 
  5. Pour into the bottom of the mold. Place slices of banana on top. 
  6. Prepare the cake by pouring the flour, baking powder, sugar, melted butter, mashed bananas and eggs into the bowl. Whisk until you get a smooth batter and pour gently the cake so as not to move the bananas.
  7. Put in the oven for 45 minutes.
  8. Leave to cool before unmolding and enjoy
